Who we are, and the non-medical basis of the approach
This is the shared core that opens every OldPain2Go® document and appears on our website. It sets out who we are and the non-medical basis of the approach.
About OldPain2Go®
Who we are. OldPain2Go® is the trading name of OldPain2Go Limited (company number 11216162, registered in England and Wales; registered office: 8 Hall Drive, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN6 7SG). Our names, logos, trade marks and materials, as they stand from time to time, belong to us or to our licensors. If you have any question about this document, contact us at [email protected] before you agree to it.
What we do. We are a training and certification provider. We train and certify practitioners in the OldPain2Go® approach. Where the approach is delivered to a client, it is delivered by an individual practitioner who is responsible for their own practice. Our Certified Practitioners are independent professionals, not employed by us or acting as our agents, and we are not responsible for how an independent practitioner practises.
A non-medical approach. OldPain2Go® is a complementary, non-medical approach. It is not a medical treatment, it does not diagnose, prescribe or treat any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric or other clinical care. We do not give medical advice and we never advise anyone to start, stop or change medication. OldPain2Go® works alongside medical care, never instead of it.
We do not guarantee an outcome. Responses vary from person to person. Nothing said or written by us, and nothing in our materials, is a promise of any particular result.
Wherever you are in the world. We are a United Kingdom company and our documents are written under the law of England and Wales. Wherever you live or practise, you keep every protection your local law gives you: nothing in our documents takes away a protection your local law says you always keep, and where a local rule is stricter than ours, follow the stricter rule. Our documents are written in English, and where we provide a translation, the English version governs.
Your information. We handle personal information in line with UK data protection law, and health information as special-category data with the additional care that requires. We may use AI-assisted tools to transcribe, process, analyse or store information, and where we do, the same protections apply, and where the law requires your separate consent for that, we ask for it separately. Our privacy notice sets out what we collect, our lawful basis, how long we keep it and your rights, and it applies alongside this document.
Changes to this document. We may update this document from time to time, for example as our approach, our brand, the law or our guidance change. Each version is dated and numbered, and we keep every version, so you can always see which one applied to you. The version that applies to you is the one in force when you agreed to it. Where a document tells you it is a living document that updates over time (our Terms of Use and our Agreements do), that document’s own update clause decides which version applies to you, always with notice and always with every dated version kept. Nothing here lets us change the terms of anything you have already completed, or affects any consent you have given, which stays yours to withdraw.
